13th October - In a recent episode of the show "Run Your Race," Suns player Bill shared his experience of being selected by the Wizards with the 3rd overall pick in the 2012 NBA Draft.

He recalled, "Seven minutes before the draft started, I'll never forget it, my agent told me, 'Get ready, you might be going to the Thunder.' They had Westbrook, Durant, Harden, Ibaka at the time. My agent said, 'Based on the calls I've been getting, you might be going to the Thunder.'"

"The trade was, they sent Harden to the Wizards in exchange for that 3rd overall pick, and then they selected me. I thought, if that's the case, it's crazy. But it didn't happen in the end. After the 2nd overall pick was announced, the Wizards' time started ticking, and I'm watching the time go by, 'What's happening, what's happening?' My agent said, 'Well, you're still going to the Wizards.'"

In October 2012, the Thunder eventually traded Harden for Kevin Martin, Jeremy Lamb, and multiple draft picks.
